Women’s Swimming Finish First Day at Big Ten Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

The Ohio State Womens Swimming and Diving are competing at the Big Ten Championships this weekend at Minnesota. After the first day of competiton OSU trails with 14 points. Carrie Ziebarth (Jr., Seattle, Wash) finished eighth in the 1-meter diving event with 378.55 points and Holly Underwood (Woodlands, TX) finished tenth with 352.55 points. Both OSU relays finished in the top ten and recorded their fastest times for the season. The 400 medley relay team of Julie Hutzler, Keryn Krynauw, Heidi Hazen, and Ann Stephens finished sixth with a time of 3:46.44. The 200 freestyle relay of Tanya Brouillette, Ann Stephens, Heidi Hazen, and JoJo Baran finished tenth with a time of 1:35.88. Events will continue tomorrow beginning at 11 a.m. The Big Ten Championships will conclude on Saturday.
