%^$SOUTH BEND, Ind. – In a tough weekend of strong competition, Ohio State%^$took a 9-0 loss to No. 2-ranked Duke today in South Bend, Ind. The Blue%^$Devils, strong in each position, prevailed with straight-set victories%^$at each singles spot. Ohio State’s Kristy Dascoli (So., Bradenton,%^$Fla.), competing against No. 12-ranked Vanessa Webb was unable to break%^$Webb’s domination, losing 6-1, 6-2. %^$ %^$ %^$
%^$ The Buckeyes fought hard, but came up short in doubles. Duke’s%^$No.14-ranked Webb and Karen Goldstein upset Ohio States Dascoli and%^$Briana Harris (So., Bradenton, Fla.) 8-5. It would be the%^$second-straight upset for the No. 7-ranked doubles team this week.%^$ %^$

%^$ The Buckeyes (3-3) head back home to play Ball State on Tuesday, Feb.%^$16 at 2 p.m. at the Jesse Owens West Recreation Center.%^$
