Men’s Gymnastics Ranked Second in Nation – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After finishing second in the country last season, the Ohio State men’s gymnastics team, under head coach Miles Avery, is ranked No. 2 in the nation in a preseason poll released by the College Gymnastics Assocation.
Michigan, who claimed the 1999 NCAA title, was ranked first. Other Big Ten schools rated in the Top 20 include Penn State, fourth (tied), Illinois, sixth, Iowa, seventh, Michigan State, 11th and Minnesota, 15th. In addition to the Big Ten schools, the Buckeyes will face No. 4 Oklahoma and No. 10 Brigham Young.
The Buckeyes will host the Alumni Exhibition, Saturday, Jan. 8 at 2 p.m., before opening the regular season at the Windy City Invitational, Jan. 15, in Chicago, Ill., at 6 p.m.
