Ian Connor Advances at World Junior Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

ANNECY, France – Ian Connor (Fr., Lexington, Ohio), a member of the Ohio State Track and Field team, has advanced to the steeple chase finals at the World Junior Track and Field Championships.
%^$Connor placed second in his heat with a time of 8:47:34, just seven seconds behind first place finisher, Abraham Cherono of Kenya.
%^$The World Junior Championship is held every other year and participating athletes must be under 20 years of age to compete. The finals will be held Saturday evening in France.
