Smith Advances to NCAA Finals in 400-meter hurdles – Ohio State Buckeyes

BUFFALO, N.Y.– Senior track standout Sekou Smith (Chicago, Ill.) captured second place in his heat of the 400-meter hurdles. The top two place finishers in each of the three heats and the next two best times advance to battle for the top eight spots in the nation. Smith will compete in the finals Friday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Ayanna Reece (Jr., Bronx, N.Y.) competed in the 400-meter hurdles semifinals, but did not advance to the finals.
