Philadelphia, Pa. – The Ohio State track and field teams competed today for day two of the Penn Relays.
All-American Tamieka Porter (Sr., Escondido, Calif.) led the team with a bronze finish in the best section of the college triple jump with a jump of 42’3-1/2.” Freshman phenom Donica Merriman (Trotwood, Ohio) finished fourth in the fastest section of the 100 hurdles recording a time of 13.65.
All-American Erika Goines (Sr., Zanesville, Ohio) took seventh place in the shot put (45’9-3/4?), while the men’s distance medley relay team consisting of Ian Connor (Fr., Lexington, Ohio), Sekou Smith (Sr., Chicago, Ill.), Andy Greicius (Fr., Ashtabula, Ohio) and David Gonzalez (So., Bolingbrook, Ill.) snagged a sixth place finish (9:51.16).
