Women’s Tennis Loses Tough Match to Michigan – Ohio State Buckeyes

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Ohio State women’s tennis team lost a tough match on the road to Michigan (7-6, 4-1) on Saturday. The Buckeyes fall to 7-8 overall and 1-3 in Big Ten action.
Michigan took four of the six singles points and also received the doubles point, sweeping the Buckeyes in all three doubles matches.
The highlight of the Buckeyes afternoon were big wins by Briana Harris (Fr., Bradenton, Fla.) in the No. 2 position and Mandy Yeley (Sr., Wheelersburg, Ohio) in the No. 3 spot. Both Harris and Yeley won their matches in grueling three set matches. Harris improved her season record to 14-12, while Yeley evened her record at 15 wins and 15 losses.
Ohio State will travel to Bloomington, Ind. to battle the Indiana Hoosiers in a Big Ten showdown this Saturday at 10 a.m.
