Women’s Tennis Falls to Maryland – Ohio State Buckeyes

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Ohio State’s women’s tennis team ended its four match road trip with a loss to no. 37 Maryland today. The loss evened the Buckeyes’ record at 4-4. Freshman Kristy Dascoli (Bradenton, Fla.) had her seven match winning streak snapped with a loss at the hands of Maryland’s Meg Griffin. Dascoli’s regular season record is now 7-1, 11-7 overall.
Although Ohio State finished the trip with a record of 1-3, two of it’s losses were to teams ranked in the ITA’s top 50. On Feb. 13, the Buckeyes dropped a 7-2 decision to 15th ranked Notre Dame.
