OSU Men’s Gym Falls to Penn State – Ohio State Buckeyes

%^$UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State defeated Ohio State 230.550-227.225 Saturday night in a Big Ten gymnastics dual meet. Penn State’s score of 230.550 is the best score posted by any team in the nation so far this season. Penn State improved their record to 6-2 while Ohio State drops to 8-3 overall and 2-1 in the Big Ten. Penn State dominated the meet by sweeping the top three places in three of the six events. Ohio State’s Doug Stibel (Jr., Canton Mich.) grabbed the only Buckeye victory of the meet scoring 9.75 on the horizontal bar. Penn State’s Mike Dutka won the all-around competition with a score of 57.55. Dutka also won the pommel horse and the parallel bars. Ohio State travels to East Lansing, Mich. to take on the Spartans of Michigan State on Sunday March 1, at 2:00 p.m. %^$
