Women’s Swimming Dominates Cleveland State, 75-20 – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s swimming team earned its fourth victory against Cleveland State Tuesday.
The OSU 200 medley relay team of Julie Hutzler (Sr., Hampton, VA), Keryn Krynauw (Fr., Pietermarizburg, S. Africa), Heidi Hazen (Jr., Mentor, Ohio), and JoJo Baran ( So., San Ramon, Calif.) won the event with a time of 1:48.12. Erica Fischer (Jr. Carson City, Nev.) won both the 500 (5:04.15) freestyle and 200 individual medley (2:08.92). Hutzler won the 100 backstroke (:59.10), Hazen finished first in the 100 butterfly (:57.72), Baran won the 50 free (:24.83). Kristin Sander (Fr., Cincinnati, Ohio) won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:54.74 Krynauw won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.85.
Ohio State will be on the road again this weekend. On Friday they head to Oxford, Ohio for the Miami Invitational.
