COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State baseball coach Bill Mosiello has announced his first additions to his coaching staff. Andrew See will serve as and assistant coach and Damon Lessler will be the director of operations/player development & recruiting.

See will be the staff’s pitching coach. He served in the same role at Clemson for the last seven seasons. The Tigers made four NCAA Tournament appearances during his time and the pitching staff was annually among the top in the ACC. See also spent time as an assistant coach and pitching coach at Duke prior to heading to Clemson. His Ohio ties are strong as he played three seasons and is a graduate of Ohio University and also returned as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for the Bobcats from 2007-12.

Lessler comes to Columbus after serving as an assistant coach at Charleston Southern last season. He was the hitting coach and helped lead the Buccaneers to a berth in the Big South Championship series in 2022. Prior to his one year at CSU, Lessler spent three seasons at Cal, serving as the Golden Bears’ infield, catching and base running coach while also getting to work with the program’s hitters. Lessler also served as the third base coach and played a large roll in Cal’s recruiting efforts.
