Senior co-captain Zach Dezenzo may not have been named the Big Ten Player of the Week, but he certainly had an honor worthy week. The Alliance, Ohio native hit .471 with four doubles, three home runs and nine runs batted in last week. He had a home run in all three games of the weekend series at Michigan, including a grand slam in the middle game. He slugged 1.235 for the week over the four games. In the Saturday game vs Michigan, he was 3-for-4 with three runs and six RBI.
Dezenzo now has 31 career home runs which is 11th in program history. He is just one away from moving into the Top 10 and just four away from the Top 5.
