OHIO STATE AT THE COLLETON RIVER COLLEGIATE
- The Buckeyes are playing in the Colleton River Collegiate for the first time in the events eight year history.
THE COURSE
- The Pete Dye course at the Colleton River Club is unlike any other in the southeast United States. The links-type course features scenic views of Port Royal Sound while playing through wetlands and forest. Small undulating greens make for a tough test as they are also protected by pot bunkers on a number of holes. The Pete Dye course is renowned and has hosted events such as the U.S. Open and Amateur Qualifiers, South Carolina Amateur and 2015 U.S. Junior Amateur.
BUCKEYE BACKDROP
- Their last time out, Ohio State finished 13th at the Puerto Rico Classic played at Rio Mar Country Club.
- Senior Felix Kvarnstrom played a great all around tournament, shooting 72-69-74 to finish one-under par and place 28th through three rounds.
