Buckeyes Start Off Spring Semester With a Win over Texas A&M

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State pistol team began the 2022 calendar year much like it finished 2021 – with a win. The Buckeyes defeated Texas A&M by a score of 6,648-6,170 in College Station to improve to 6-0 on the season.

Highlights

  • Jackson Leverett (So.) had the highest individual total in both air (568), standard(552), and aggregate (1,679)
  • Katelyn Abeln (Jr.) had the highest individual total in sport (563)
  • The Buckeyes had five of the top six individual 3-gun aggregate scores
  • Ohio State took six of the top seven scores in air pistol individually
  • Each Buckeye placed in the top 10 in sport pistol individually
  • Ohio State placed first through fifth in the standard pistol individually

Ohio State returns to action this Saturday, Jan. 22, when it makes the short trek to Arkon, Ohio to face the Akron Zips.
