COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s volleyball team welcomes Lindenwood to the Covelli Center this weekend to wrap up its 2021 home schedule. The Buckeyes and Lions face off on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. with both matches being streamed on BTN+.

The Buckeyes (6-8, 5-5 MIVA) went 1-1 last weekend against Purdue Fort Wayne with a 3-1 win on Friday and 3-1 setback on Saturday. Sotiris Siapanis accounted for 41 percent of Ohio State’s offense with a career-high 23 kills in the first meeting while Martin Lallemand had a double-double (16 kills, 12 digs). Siapanis led the offense again on Saturday with 20 kills. Lallemand and Jacob Pasteur added 16 and 12 kills, respectively.
SCOUTING LINDENWOOD
Lindenwood (4-9, 1-9 MIVA) dropped a pair of straight-set decisions to No. 5 Lewis last week. A.J. Lewis paces the Lions with 3.28 kills per set, which stands 10th in the MIVA. Nationally, Lindenwood ranks eighth behind 2.40 blocks per set while Cal Werths is averaging 1.04 rejections to check in at No. 16.
NATIONALLY KNOWN
Jacob Pasteur is averaging 4.15 points and 3.48 kills per set, which ranks 24th and 26th, respectively, among the nation’s leaders. As a team, the Buckeyes are 15th in aces per set (1.36), 17th in kills (12.34), 18th in assists (11.47) and 18th in hitting percentage (.271).
