
2021 Baseball Schedule Announced by the Big Ten

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference has announced the 2021 Baseball schedule. The regular season opens on March 5 and concludes over Memorial Day weekend. Each team is slated to play 44 games.
The Buckeyes open the season with a four-game set against Illinois in Greenville, S.C. on March 5-7. Those games will be played at Fluor Field in Greenville. The next weekend, the Buckeyes will play two games each against Nebraska and Iowa at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.
The aggressive scheduling starts on March 19-21 as the Buckeyes will head to Piscataway, N.J., for a three-game series with Rutgers. Ohio State will play home series with Iowa and Maryland (March 26-28), Indiana (April 2-4), Penn State (April 23-25) Purdue (April 30-May 2), Michigan State ((May 14-16) and Northwestern (May 28-30). Including the trip to Rutgers, the Buckeyes will also travel to Michigan (April 9-11), Maryland (April 16-18), Minnesota (May 7-9) and Indiana (May 21-23).
The Buckeyes are under the direction of 11th-year head coach Greg Beals who has a career record of 546-440-1 and a 303-238-1 mark at Ohio State.
