Women’s Tennis Wins in Consolations at Clay Court Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State tennis player Kristy Dascoli (Jr., Bradenton, Fla.) and the doubles tandem of Dascoli and Briana Harris (Jr., Bradenton, Fla.) advanced to the semifinals of the consolation brackets at the T. Rowe Price National Clay Court Championships at the Suburban Club of Baltimore County in Pikesville, Md. %^$
%^$ Dascoli, ranked No. 50 in the country, won her first round match, defeating No. 85 Lori Grey of Georgia, 4-6, 6-1, 6-1. She beat No. 23 Erica Perkins of Washington State, 6-4, 7-5, in the second round to advance to the semifinals. Dascoli will face Florida’s Jessica Lehnhoff, ranked No. 47, in the consolation semifinal Saturday at 10 a.m.%^$
%^$ The No. 7-ranked doubles team of Dascoli and Harris won their first match, defeating Rice’s Charlotte Feasby and Erin Waters, 6-2, 6-2. Dascoli and Harris will face No. 34 Martina Nedelkova and Andrea Ondrisova of Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday.%^$
