Competed in one meet at a senior, posting a 9.750 on vault at Penn State.
AS A JUNIORÂ (2016)
Competed on vault in the final three meets of her junior campaign … posted a team high and personal season-high 9.825 on the event at Big Ten Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015)
Competed in 12 meets on balance beam and floor exercise and in eight meets on vault … tied for third with a career-high 9.850 on vault in tri-meet against Michigan and West Virginia … took first and tied her career-high 9.850 to take vault title at Penn State … tied for second with a career-best 9.800 on beam against Boise State.
AS A FRESHMANÂ (2014)
Competed in six meets … tallied a season-high 9.700 on balance beam at Michigan and posted a season-best 9.800 on floor exercise in a tri-meet at Illinois with Central Michigan.
PRIOR TO OHIO STATE
Trained at the St. Louis Gymnastics Centre where she has been a competitive Level 10 gymnast for four years … a two-time Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier … placed fourth on vault, third on beam and second on floor at the Region 4 Championships in 2012.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Terry and Linda Burns … has a sister, Karen, and a brother, Steven … National Honor Society member at Cor Jesu Academy.
