2013 (Sophomore Season): Went 15-11 with a 2.59 earned run average and 171 strikeouts in 173 innings pitched … led the Buckeyes in every major pitching category, including innings pitched, wins and strikeouts … finished with 14 complete games and nine shutouts … was seventh in the Big Ten in earned run average and strikeouts, fifth in opponent batting average (.210) and tied for ninth in wins (15) … scattered four hits and struck out four over eight innings in a 1-0 victory over 16th-ranked Louisville on Feb. 16 … had two shutouts in Big Ten play (2-0 vs. Penn State and 3-0 vs. Illinois) … struck out a career-high 17 batters against Ohio (April 9), the second highest total in single-game history over the past 16 years … was an Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete selection.
