2015 Ohio State Scholar-Athlete
Prior to Ohio State: Rowed as a member of the Michigan State second novice eight crew in every race of the season … opened the season at home against Michigan and Notre Dame (March 30), falling to Michigan (7:30.73-7:41.68) in the first session and defeating Notre Dame (7:51.20-8:08.5) in the second session … crossed the line in 6:59.2 to place third at the Big Ten Duals in Ann Arbor, Mich., April 13 … competed at the Clemson Invitational April 20-21 at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C., placing second to Texas in both the morning (7:10.7-7:16.8) and afternoon (6:53.0-6:57.6) session … competed against Minnesota and Wisconsin in the final week of the regular season, rowing to a second-place finish (7:11.7) behind Wisconsin … earned a bronze medal at the 2013 Big Ten Championships after crossing the line in 7:22.64 behind first-place Wisconsin and second-place Michigan.
Personal: Daughter of Bernhard and Stephanie … has two sisters, Alexandra and Samantha … transfer from Michigan State (2012) where she was a member of the novice team … rowed for Westerville Crew under coach Trish Chase (2010-11) … also rowed for Penn AC (2011) under coach Rebecca Smith … enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing and shopping … father played collegiate football and sister played collegiate golf.
