Buckeyes set to compete in 25th NCAA Championship
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Buckeyes Katerina Dohnalová and Montana Ma'aelopa were named to the 2026 Big Ten All-Freshman Team, the league office announced Tuesday.
Ohio State finished third at the 2026 Big Ten Championships last Sunday in Indianapolis. That effort earned Ohio State its 25th appearance in the NCAA Championship Regatta.

The 2026 NCAA event will be held May 29-31 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.
Dohnalová, a native of Praha, Czech Republic, was named a member of the 2026 All-Big Ten Second Team in addition to making the All-Freshman squad. She helped the Ohio State 1v8 boat to a third-place finish at the Big Ten Championships. The 1V8 is the No. 15 seed at the 2026 NCAA Championships.
Ma'aelopa, a native from Auckland, New Zealand, is part of Ohio State's 2v8, the No. 16 seed in the NCAA Regatta.
