- Helped the boat to a second-place finish at the 2019 Big Ten Championships and sixth-place finish at NCAA Championships.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2018)
- Member of the 1V8 boat that finished 9-4 overall on the season
- Earning two victories over Clemson and Virginia to secure a Big Ten Co-Boat of the Week honor
- Helped the boat to a first-place finish at the 2018 Big Ten Championship with a time of 6:20.948
- Finished third with a time of 6:27.746 in the A/B Semifinal at the 2018 NCAA Championships to earn a spot in the Grand Final where the boat finished 6th with a time 6:28.527
Prior to Ohio State:
- Started rowing with Holstebro Roklub in 2012
- Rowed with the U19 Danish National Team from 2014-16 and with the U23 team from 2017-18
- Placed second at the 2016 U19 World Championships
- Finished 6th at the 2017 U23 World Championships
Personal:
- Daughter of Anna Grete Birkjær and Gorm Vang Petersen
- Has three siblings, Aske, Thea and Kari
- Majoring in Biochemistry
- Hobbies include knitting, baking, and hiking
- Plans for after graduation include completing a master’s degree in either London or Copenhagen and trying out for the Danish National Senior Team
- Greatest sports thrill was earning second at the 2016 World Rowing Junior Championships
