
Boes To Compete for Spot on USRowing’s Under 23 National Team

Newcomer Katerina Dohnolova To Race for Czech Republic
COLUMBUS, Ohio – USRowing announced the 42 athletes invited to its 2025 Under 23 National Team, as well as the additional 27 athletes selected to attend the World Rowing University Games camps. Ohio State rising senior Amelia Boes is among the athletes competing for a spot on USRowing's Under 23 National Team that will represent the United States at the 2025 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Poznan, Poland from July 23-27.
Boes earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors this past season and is a three-time OSU Scholar Athlete majoring in sport industry. She was a key member in the Buckeyes' 1V8 that finished sixth in the Grand Final at the 2025 Big Ten Championships last month. Boes' 1V8 squad wrapped up the season ranked fifth in the region, while the Buckeyes ranked No. 22 nationally as a team in head coach Emily Gackowski's inaugural season.
In addition to Boes, incoming freshman Katerina Dohnolova will be representing the Czech Republic in the U23 Women's 4x (quad) competition.
