Ohio State Competed in Six Grand Finals Sunday, take 5th overall

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 17 Ohio State placed six boats in the grand finals Sunday and came away with a fifth-place finish in the 2025 Big Ten Rowing Championships in Indianapolis with 135 points. Washington (264 points) earned its first league title after joining the conference last year. The event was held at the Indianapolis Rowing Center.Â

Ohio State earned top-three finishes in the first three races of the morning (4V8, 3V8 and 2V4).Â
The Buckeyes placed three on the 2025 All-Big Ten Teams with Leandra Hogrefe earning a spot on the All-Big Ten First Team. Amelia Boes and Ellie Brindle were named to the All-Big Ten Second Team. Rose Biddulph was Ohio State's Sportsmanship Award Honoree.Â
