- Had a tremendous season to cap a record-setting career
- Became just the third OSU team to win an NCAA doubles national title and set the program’s all-time doubles wins record
- Was 36-7 in doubles to finish with 148 career doubles victories
- In singles, he posted a career-best 25-4 record, including a 21-2 mark during the dual season
- Won all four of his singles matches and posted six total victories at the ITA Indoor Team National Championship and was named the tournament’s most outstanding player
- Record doubles wins with four different partners throughout the season
- Won the doubles title at the ITA All-American Championship to open the season and then reached to the quarterfinals at the ITA Fall National Championship
- Had a team-best 16 wins over ranked doubles teams
2022-23 (Senior)
- Had another impressive season, finishing with a 23-8 doubles record and a career-best 17-1 singles record
- Lost just three singles sets all year
- Won all three of his singles matches at the ITA National Indoor Team Championships
- Had a big 6-1, 6-4 win over Michigan’s Jacob Bickersteth to help the Buckeyes win the Big Ten Tournament title
- Was ranked in doubles for the second half of the season and finished the year ranked No. 12
- Had six wins over ranked doubles teams
- Avenged one of his five losses from last season by beating the No. 2 ranked team of Jake Fearnley and Luc Fomba of TCU in the NCAA Semifinals to send the Buckeyes to the championship match
2021-22 (Junior)
- Team Captain
- Finished the year ranked as part of the No. 1 doubles team in the country
- Had one of the best doubles seasons in school history, finishing the year with a single-season school record 45 wins (45-7)
- Was just the fifth team all-time win the ITA All-American Championship and the ITA Fall National Championship in the same season
- Capped the year with a runner-up finish in the NCAA Doubles Championship, falling in a third-set tiebreaker
- Was 19-3 vs. ranked doubles opponents
- Spent a total of 21 weeks ranked at No. 1
- He and partner Matej Vocel were a remarkable 14-0 with a pair of titles in the fall
- Held a 13-4 singles record and reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Midwest Regional Championship
- Was ranked as high as No. 63 in the singles rankings, which was a career-high
2020-21 (Sophomore)
- Had another great season, going 16-4 in singles matches and 20-6 in doubles matches
- Spent two weeks in the singles rankings and was as high at No. 4 in the country in the doubles rankings
- Was 9-4 at the No. 6 spot in singles
- Went 7-3 at the No. 1 spot in doubles and 10-2 at the No. 2 spot
- Had a record of 9-2 in Big Ten singles matches
- Beat No. 83 Connor Johnston of Michigan 8-1 at the OSU Invitational
- Had four wins over ranked doubles opponents, including back-to-back NCAA Tournament wins over Inigo Torre Martin and Rayane Stable (No. 81) of VCU and Siddhant Banthia and Matthew Thomson (No. 87) of Wake Forest
2019-20 (Freshman)
- Was 9-5 in singles and 24-5 in doubles
- Had a great fall in doubles and was ranked in the top-3 all spring, including one week at No. 1 in the country
- Was 13-2 in doubles matches with McNally in the fall
- The team won the ITA Midwest Regional in a third-set comeback win over Michigan’s Andrew Fenty and Mattis Siimar
- Made a run all the way to the finals of the ITA Fall Championship, knocking-off the No. 15 ranked team of Payton Holden and Ryan Seggerman (Princeton) along the way
- Opened the spring with seven consecutive doubles wins en route to earning a No. 1 ranking nationally
- Won his first five decisions in singles play, including the clinching point in the team’s win over No. 1 Texas on Feb. 1. Also had a win over the No. 4 ranked doubles team of Longhorns Christian Sigsgaard and Yuya Ito
Prior to Ohio State
- Was ranked in the top-25 of the 2019 recruiting class
- 1 prospect in Ohio where he was the 2018 state singles champion.
- In 2018, he ascended to No. 1 in the country in the junior doubles rankings.
- Six-time Midwest Closed Champions in singles and doubles
- Two-time 16s National Doubles Champion and a 18s National Clay Court Champion.
- Doubles champion at the ITF Grade 4 in Atlanta as well as a doubles champion at the 16s National Indoor Championships
- Owns a total of six gold balls and has finished in the top-3 nine times at national events
- Competed in doubles with teammate Cannon Kingsley at the 2019 US Open Juniors Championship
- Cash has been coached in large part by Bryan Nibert but has also worked with Gabe Higgs, Kevin Metka and David Kass.
