- Set a career-best time of 19.57 in the 50 free at the Last Chance Meet
- At the Big Ten Championships, set career-best times in the 100 free (43.67) and the 200 free (1:36.89)
- At the Phillips 66 National Championships over the summer, turned in an Olympic Trials qualifying time of 22.55 in the 50 free
- Was on the 200 free relay team that set a school record at the TYR Pro Championships in Irvine

- Competed in the Buckeyes’ three regular season meets of the year

- Swam for Jessica Stoddard at Detroit Catholic High School where he was a Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and NISCA All-American as well as NISCA Academic All-American
- He was a nine-time All-State honoree and an eight-time All-American
- Member of the DROP Aquatics club program, swimming under Drew Hansz
