
Buckeyes Place 13th at NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 11 Ohio State men's swimming and diving placed 13th at the 2026 NCAA Championships, which concluded Saturday in Atlanta.
The Buckeyes earned 72 points over the four-day competition, and it is the seventh consecutive season placing in the top 20. Four Buckeyes collected All-American honors, with three earning All-American recognition in more than one event. The Buckeyes won two bronze medals over the course of competition. The 800 free relay team of Tomas Navikonis, Cornelius Jahn, Jordi Vilchez and Tristan Jankovics won bronze with a program-record time of 6:06.40 and Jankovics won bronze in the 400 IM with a time of 3:35.40.
On the final day of competition, Jankovics earned Honorable Mention All-American status in the 200 IM. He placed 12th with a time of 1:41.93.
Jahn set a program record in the 200 back, placing 13th with a time of 1:38.84 to earn Honorable Mention All-American recognition. He broke his own previously held record of 1:39.40, which he set earlier this month at the Big Ten Championships.
The relay team of Tomas Navikonis, Jahn, Rasmus Hanson and Evan Fentress placed 20th in the 400 free relay with a time of 2:49.14.
