Earned All-America honors on the pommel horse with a score of 14.550 (seventh place) to help Ohio State earn runner-up honors at the NCAA Championships … also added to the team score at NCAA Championships on the floor (13.150) and parallel bars (14.200) … assisted Ohio State in winning back-to-back conference titles with a season-best score of 14.450 on floor, 13.450 on pommel horse, 14.200 on parallel bars, and a 14.050 on the vault … won gold thrice on the parallel bars against UIC (14.750), against Michigan (14.700) and at the Arnold Challenge (season-best 14.800) … finished first on the floor (14.000) and pommel horse (career-best 14.900) against UIC and Michigan, respectively … placed second at the Big Ten event finals on the parallel bars with a 14.300 … garnered silver on the parallel bars at the Windy City Invitational with a readout of 14.200 … finished in second on the vault at a dual meet against Illinois with a season-best score of 14.400 … registered a third-place finish on the parallel bars at Penn State with a score of 14.500 … earned bronze on the pommel at the dual meet against UIC with a score of 13.700 … earned a trio of fourth-place showings on the floor against Michigan (13.950), at the Arnold Challenge (14.150) and against Illinois (14.400) … also placed fifth on the parallel bars at the dual meet against Illinois with a 14.100 … registered a sixth-place finish on the floor at the Big Ten individual finals with a readout of 14.050 … finished eighth on the pommel horse at the Arnold Challenge with a readout of 13.500.

Featured on pommel horse (11th, 14.650) and parallel bars (22nd, 14.250) at the NCAA championships (April 16) … competed on pommel (eighth, 14.800) and parallel bars (seventh, 14.350) at the NCAA Qualifier (April 15) … finished 14th on pommel horse at the Big Ten Championships (April 1) … posted a 15.150 on floor to claim fourth, a 15.100 to claim second on pommel horse and also competed on parallel bars in a tri-meet with Oklahoma and Air Force (March 7) … tied his personal-best of 15.400 to claim a second place finish on parallel bars and competed on floor, vault and pommel horse at the Arnold Challenge (March 1) … earned a second-place tie on pommel horse against Penn State (Feb. 13) with a score of 15.100; placed seventh on vault (14.800) and also performed on floor exercise … finished third on floor exercise (14.800), sixth on the pommel horse and tied for seventh on vault (14.750) against Michigan (Jan. 30) … represented Ohio State at the 2015 U.S. National Qualifier … Academic All-Big Ten and Ohio State Scholar-Athlete.

Competed in every meet for the Buckeyes in all four of his events consistently … competed at the NCAA qualifier on floor, vault, pommel horse and parallel bars (April 10) … Big Ten team finals competed on floor, vault, pommel horse and parallel bars … Big Ten event finals placed ninth on parallel bars (March 28-29) … captured first-place victories on both floor and pommel horse with scores of 15.400 against Oklahoma and Temple (March 15) … achieved his career high of 15.150 on vault at the Stanford Quad (March 8) … placed third on pommel horse and vault and notched a career high of 15.050 on parallel bars to earn a second-place finish against Cal-Berkley (Feb. 14) … placed third on floor at Michigan (Feb. 1) … Ohio State Scholar Athlete.

Trained and competed at the U.S. Olympic Training Center under coaches Vitaly Marinitch and Andriy Stepanchenko … competed at the 2013 P&G Championships, placing seventh on pommel horse … also competed at the 2013 Men’s Junior National Olympic Championships, claiming first place on pommel horse and third in the all-around … finished in eighth place on pommel horse at the 2013 Winter Cup … competed at the Winter Cup, Junior National Olympic Championships and Visa championships (2011) … placed third on pommel horse at the Visa championships (2010) and fifth on pommel horse at the national qualifier (2010) at the junior level … placed first on pommel horse and third on floor exercise at the 2010 Junior Olympic National Championships.

Son of Mat and Kaylyn Dastrup … has three siblings, Tad, Barrett and Blake … majoring in sports industry … plans to work in the sports industry or attend PT school after graduation … favorite pastimes include spending time with family and friends.
