- Finished 10th at CCFC individual championships
- 11-0 in dual matches, competing in OSU Duals and Northwestern Duals
- Buckeye men claimed CCFC team and foil titles
- Placed 31st at OSU Open
- Named an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete

- Trained with Bluegrass Fencers' Club starting in 2016
- Ran cross country and track and played lacrosse

- Parents are Jennifer and Paul
- Twin brother, Mason, attends the University of Kentucky
- Forestry, fisheries and wildlife major
- Would like to work for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service in a fishery producing game fish to stock ponds around the U.S.
- Loves aquarium keeping, fishing and collecting and building Lego sets
- On how he got into fencing “I was in middle school around the time the 2016 Rio Olympics were going on and was looking for a new sport to try. Everyone in my town was talking about “The girl from Lexington going to the Olympics to do fencing (Lee Kiefer): and that’s when I decided I wanted to try it. I’ve loved it ever since.”
