
Ohio State Will Travel to Syracuse for Big Ten/ACC Challenge

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State is scheduled to travel to Syracuse on Wednesday, Dec. 1 for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge as the matchups for the 14th annual competition were announced on Tuesday.
The Big Ten/ACC Challenge most recently took place in 2019 with the Big Ten beating the ACC by a 9-5 margin. The Buckeyes earned a 67-60 victory over No. 2 Louisville. This was the program’s 13th win all-time over a top-five team and its first win over the Cardinals.
Ohio State is 4-9 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge with the first three games coming against top-10 opponents. The Buckeyes are currently on a two-game win streak, beating North Carolina by a 76-69 margin in 2018 before earning the victory against No. 2 Louisville in 2019. Ohio State won its first game in the challenge against Virginia in 2010, beating the Cavaliers by a 74-46 margin.
Game times, as well as television and streaming video coverage, for the 2021 Big Ten/ACC Women’s Basketball Challenge will be announced at a later date. All Big Ten home games in this year’s Challenge will appear on either the Big Ten Network (BTN), Big Ten Network+ or one of the ESPN networks, while ACC home games in the Challenge will be shown on either the ACC Network, ACC Network Extra or one of the ESPN networks.
