Stats and Such

- He’s 85 ground balls shy of Withers’ record and 66 face-off wins away from his top spot.
- Inacio would need to average 6.5 ground balls per game and 5.1 face-off wins over the next 13 games to reach both records.
- Jackson Reid is 13 goals away from becoming the 13th player with 100 career goals.
- Reid’s 122 career points puts him in a three-way tie with Rob Grim (1979-82) and Kevin Johnson (1997-99) for 24th place on the all-time list.
- Myers has 119 career points, good for 27th all-time.
- The 47 ground balls in last week’s game were the most since the Buckeyes scooped up 48 vs. Wagner in 2007.
- Four players scored their first career Buckeye goals last week: Jason Knox, Ari Allen, Greg Langermeier and James Gurr. Ed Shean, who had an assist, notched his first career point.
- Ohio State is looking to start 2-0 for the sixth time in the last seven years.
