COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 13 Ohio State Men’s Volleyball team opened the 2022 season with a 3-0 win (25-16, 25-20, 25-20) vs. Central State Friday at the Covelli Center. The win marked the first game in season three for head coach Kevin Burch.
The Buckeyes were originally scheduled to play Charleston (W.Va.) but the game was canceled earlier this week because of COVID-related issues within the Golden Eagles program. Ohio State added a second game vs. Central State to make up for the lost competition with Charleston. The Buckeyes and Marauders will play again at 7 p.m. Saturday in an originally-scheduled match.
