Spencer and Cisse-Ignatiev win in singles and doubles
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 3 ranked Ohio State women's tennis team moved to 7-1 in Big Ten play with a 4-1 win at Nebraska Friday evening in Lincoln, Neb. Ohio State improves to 16-3 overall, while Nebraska is 12-6 (5-4 B1G).

Against the Huskers, the Buckeyes captured the doubles point, with wins from the duos of Flora Johnson/Luciana Perry and Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev/Audrey Spencer. Cisse-Ignatiev, Spencer and Teah Chavez all won in singles for the team victory.

The Buckeyes will play their third road match in five-day stretch Sunday when they take on Iowa at 1 p.m. ET in Iowa City, Iowa.

How it Happened
- Nebraska claimed the doubles match on court one, but Ohio State took the matches on courts two and three for the doubles point.
- On court three, Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev and Audrey Spencer won 6-3 and the duo of Flora Johnson and Luciana Perry posted a 6-2 victory on court two to clinch the doubles point.
- Ohio State took five of the six singles first sets.
- On court three, Cisse-Ignatiev downed Katie Spencer, 6-3, 6-1, for a 2-0 Buckeye lead.
- Nebraska won the court five match, making the team score 2-1.
- No. 114-ranked Audrey Spencer followed with a straight-set win on court four against Emma Rizzetto, 6-3, 6-4, to put the Buckeyes a point away from the win.
- No. 4-ranked Teah Chavez closed out the victory, prevailing in three sets against Conley Raidt on court two, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. In the third, Chavez broke for a 4-2 lead en route to the victory.
- The remaining matches were suspended. On court one No. 5 Perry was up 5-0 in the third set and on court six Alessia Cau was about to start a third set.
- Spencer is 13-0 this spring to lead the Buckeyes, with Chavez 12-1.
