COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 9 Ohio State men's lacrosse team heads back to the east coast this weekend to play at No. 10 Maryland for its final regular season road trip. The Buckeyes (8-2, 1-1 B1G) and Terrapins (4-4, 1-1 B1G) meet Saturday, April 4 at 6 p.m. from SECU Stadium in College Park, Md.

Buckeyes In a Nutshell
- Ohio State is 1-1in Big Ten play and tied for second in the conference. The team has a win at No. 13 Rutgers and fell to No. 6 Penn State last weekend.
- Senior defenseman Cullen Brown and junior goalie Caleb Fyock were named Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-Americans Friday. Brown leads the Big Ten with 1.80 caused turnovers per game and averages 3.60 ground balls per game for the Buckeyes. Fyock's 7.44 goals-against average is third-best nationally and his .553 save percentage leads the conference.
- The Buckeyes are ninth in the USILA coaches poll with 332 points. The team is also ninth in the Inside Lacrosse media poll and 10th in the USA Lacrosse Division I Top 20. Ohio State has been ranked in the top 10 every week of the 2026 season.
- Two of the Big Ten's best faceoff units meet this weekend in College Park. The Buckeyes lead the league with a .621 win percentage from the faceoff X with Maryland also operating at over 60 percent for second in the conference. Jack Oldman is second in the conference with a winning percentage of 63.8 percent with the Terrapins' Henry Dodge first in the Big Ten with a 66.4 win percentage. Matt Mayfield joins Oldman in the top five in the conference with a win rate of 58.7 percentage.
- Ohio State is top five in the country, and at the top of the Big Ten, in clearing percentage (.910) and scoring defense (7.00).
- The Buckeyes have held their opponents to a nation-low 7.00 goals per game through 10 games played this season. The team has only allowed double digit goals once this season and is one of three teams holding opponents to under eight goals on average.
- Saturday marks the sixth straight ranked matchup and second consecutive top 10 opponent for the Buckeyes. Ohio State is 3-2 in ranked matchups this season.
