
Buckeyes Conclude Day 2 of Clemson Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's golf team completed the second round of the Clemson Invitational on Saturday at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, South Carolina. They head into the final round of the tournament sitting in sixth place.
As a team, the Buckeyes posted a 298 (+10) in the second round, bringing their two-day total to a position just outside the top five on the leaderboard. Mandy Song paced the Buckeyes on Saturday, recording a 73 (+1) to lead the team. Matilde Santilli matched that effort with a 73 (+1) of her own. Sophie Eppelstun followed with a 75 (+3), contributing another counted score, while Nellie Ong added a 77 (+5) to round out the team's four counted scores for the day. Kary Hollenbaugh finished with a 78 (+6) in the second round. Competing as an individual, Marina Joyce-Moreno posted a 76 (+4).
The Buckeyes will look to improve their position as they return to the course Sunday for the third and final round, which is set to begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
