
Buckeyes Continue Road Trip With 4-1 Win at Indiana

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After dropping the doubles point, No. 5 Ohio State showed its dominance in singles and ran away with a 4-1 Big Ten victory at Indiana on Friday afternoon.
The Buckeyes are now 16-3 on the season and 3-1 in Big Ten play.
Ohio State started its spring break trip with a solid road win at No. 9 Texas A&M earlier this week. The win over Indiana get the Buckeyes back in the win column in Big Ten play.
Doubles
- The Buckeyes dropped the doubles point as Indiana won matches on courts 1 and 3.
- Alex Okonkwo and Alexander Bernard claimed the lone Buckeye win as they beat Jip van Assendelft and Facundo Yunis 6-3 on court two.
Singles
- The Buckeyes bounced back after a tough doubles point and took momentum back by winning all six opening sets in singles.
- Jack Anthrop was the first off the court as he rolled Jip Van Assendelft on court one 6-2, 6-0 to even the match at 1-1.
- Nikita Filin gave the Buckeyes the lead with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Benjamin Pomeranets on court four.
- Aidan Kim followed with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Facundo Yunis on court two and then Preston Stearns provided the clinching point with his own 6-4, 6-3 win over Michael Andre on court four.
- Alexander Bernard and Brandon Carpico each split their first two sets before the team match was decided.

Ohio State continues the weekend road trip and will play at Purdue on Sunday at noon.
