COLUMBUS, Ohio -- No. 5 Ohio State (14-3, 2-1) travels to face No. 9 Texas A&M (12-6) Wednesday (7 p.m.) before traveling to take on Indiana (7-6, 1-3) Friday (6 p.m.). After the match against the Hoosiers the Buckeyes will stay in Indiana, facing Purdue (4-9, 0-4) Sunday (noon).

Ohio State swept No. 43 Michigan last Friday before falling to No. 46 Michigan State 4-3 at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center.

The Buckeyes opened the season ranked No. 6 in the ITA preseason rankings, they moved up to No. 2 in the first rankings and jumped to No. 1. Ohio State comes in at No. 5 this week.
Ohio State started the season 11-0 at home, in that span, the Buckeyes swept eight opponents at Ty Tucker Tennis Center.
Nikita Filin racked up three wins last weekend, two in singles and one in doubles with Brandon Carpico as a pair. Filin has only suffered two total losses in the dual season.
The Buckeyes have won five-consecutive matches against the Aggies, their all-time record is 13-8. Texas A&M is 12-6 and coming off of a victory over No. 6 LSU.
Ohio State also holds the all-time record over Indiana with a 62-41 record. The Buckeyes are 23-3 with Ty Tucker as Ohio State's head coach. They have swept the Hoosiers six times in a row, with seven-consecutive victories.
Ohio State and Purdue matched up earlier in the season with the Buckeyes hosting the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Columbus. Ohio State swept the Boilermakers, increasing their win streak against Purdue to 29 matches.
Five Buckeyes remained on the leaderboard in the latest ITA singles rankings. Aidan Kim is the highest Buckeye at No. 9 followed by Preston Stearns at No. 16, Anthrop at No. 27, Alex Okonkwo at No. 32 and Filin at No. 85.
Five Ohio State pairs are ranked in the latest ITA doubles rankings with Brandon Carpico and Filin holding their spot at No. 1, Alexander Bernard and Okonkwo at No. 17, Kim and Nakashima at No. 28, Anthrop and Loren Byers at No. 52 and Anthrop and Stearns at No. 56.
After the road trip, the Buckeyes will welcome Illinois and Northwestern to Columbus March 27 and 29.
