Jaloni Cambridge Earns Spot on Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll

This is her seventh time this season making the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly women's basketball awards on Monday. Sophomore guard Jaloni Cambridge was named to the Big Ten Weekly Honor Roll for the seventh time this season.

Cambridge led the Buckeyes in the final week of the regular season by averaging 27.5 points per game and making nine triples. She also averaged 6.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and a steal per game, while shooting 9-of-16 (.563) from beyond the arc. Cambridge began the week with 22 points, a career-high nine assists and four rebounds against the top-10 ranked Wolverines. In the Buckeyes' regular season finale victory on the road against a top-15 ranked Michigan State team, Cambridge totaled 33 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block, while making a career-high seven triples (shooting 7-of-12 from downtown). Against the Spartans, Cambridge became the fifth Buckeye in program history to score 700 points in a season.

Among single season program records, she ranks ninth in points (703) and is tied for eighth in field goals made (266). Cambridge wrapped up the regular season as the Big Ten scoring champion – both overall (23.4 ppg) and in conference play (26.4 ppg). She also leads the league in free throws made per game (4.3), ranks second in field goals made per game (8.9), ninth in assists per game (4.5) and 11th in steals per game (1.9).
