Ohio State Makes Program Record 18 Three-Pointers in 87-68 Victory at Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The No. 13/12 Ohio State women's basketball team (24-6, 13-5 B1G) beat No. 15/15 Michigan State (22-7, 11-7 B1G) on Sunday afternoon by an 87-68 margin to wrap up the regular season, making a program-record 18 three-pointers in the victory.

Ohio State used an 11-0 run and stout defense to build a 23-9 after 10 minutes. The Buckeyes led by as many as 30 points during the second quarter and held the 49-26 advantage at halftime. The Spartans scored the final six points of a back-and-forth third quarter as the Buckeyes held a 62-48 lead after 30 minutes. Ohio State held a double-digit lead through the remainder of the game to earn the 87-68 win.

Kennedy Cambridge became the sole program record holder with 120 total steals this season. Jaloni Cambridge was the first in the game to reach double figures and finished the game with 33 points. Chance Gray (21), K. Cambridge (10) and Elsa Lemmilä (11) joined J. Cambridge in double figures. Lemmilä added a game-high 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season.
