
Eight Buckeyes Named to All-WCHA Teams

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's hockey team has eight representatives on the 2025-26 All-WCHA teams, the league announced Thursday.
Junior forward Joy Dunne and senior defender Emma Peschel represent Ohio State on the first team. Junior forward Jocelyn Amos is the team's second team honoree while freshman forward Hilda Svensson, sophomore defender Mira Jungaker and senior goaltender Hailey MacLeod round out the third team members.
Earning WCHA All-Rookie Team honors are Svensson, defender Jenna Raunio and goaltender Taylor Kressin.
Ohio State's eight representatives are the most of any school in the league.
Emma Peschel is now a two-time All-WCHA First Team honoree with Dunne making her first appearance on the team after second team honors last year. Amos earns the second team nod following a third team award in 2024-25.
Dunne and Svensson tied for second on the team with 31 points in conference games this season and missed eight games for the Olympics. Dunne is one of three WCHA players to record over 20 goals in the conference season, finishing the regular season league slate with 21 goals in 18 games. Her three hat tricks in WCHA games played are the most of any player this season. Svensson was third in the league with 22 assists in 20 games played.
Amos led the team with 32 points in 24 conference games played. She was second on the team with 16 goals in WCHA games. The Ailsa Craig, Ontario native scored the second-most power play goals with four in conference action. She also led the conference with 14.92 faceoff wins per game and was second in the league with 358 total wins.
On the defensive end, Jungaker, Peschel and Raunio helped Ohio State hold opponents to 22.00 shots per game and 1.79 goals per game with eight games against the top two offenses in the country. Peschel was top 10 in the league with 19 assists on the year. She also led the team with 31 blocked shots against WCHA opponents. Jungaker finished +19 on the year with two goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 18 games played. Raunio recorded 11 points in 15 games played with a +6 on ice.
MacLeod finished the regular season conference schedule second in the league with a 1.61 goals-against average in 18 conference games played and was tied for second with a .930 save percentage. In her first collegiate season, Kressin went undefeated in six WCHA games played and started, earning a 1.33 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.
Ohio State finished the 2025-26 WCHA regular season in second place. The team earned a league-high 24 wins on the year, the second-most conference wins in a season in program history.
