COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 13/12 Ohio State women's basketball team (23-6, 12-5 B1G) fell to No. 8/8 Michigan (23-5, 14-3 B1G) in Wednesday night's regular season home finale in an overtime thriller. Kennedy Cambridge tied the single season program record by bringing her season total to 115 steals.

Ohio State used a pair of 7-0 runs in the opening frame to build a 28-14 lead after 10 minutes of play. Michigan battled back to take the lead, but Ohio State was in front, 40-39, going into the locker room. The Wolverines led by a 61-53 margin after 30 minutes of play. Ohio State erased a four-point deficit in the final four minutes of regulation and Jaloni Cambridge made three free throws with less than a second remaining to send the game to overtime. Ohio State built an eight-point lead in overtime but Michigan scored the final 10 points of the game as the Buckeyes' final shot was deemed not in time.

Jaloni Cambridge was the first Buckeye in double figures, reaching 10 points early in the third quarter and finishing with 22 points. Kylee Kitts (11) and Chance Gray (19) joined J. Cambridge in double figures. Elsa Lemmilä recorded her third consecutive game with 10 or more rebounds by totaling a career-high 15 rebounds tonight and added 11 points for her fourth double-double of the season. J. - Q1: Michigan opened scoring and Ohio State took its first lead at 5-4 after a three-point play from Chance Gray. The Buckeyes strung together seven unanswered points to take a 12-6 lead with 5:26 to play in the opening frame. Martin made her third triple of the quarter to cap a 10-2 Buckeye run to give OSU a 22-10 lead. Gray made a three-pointer in the final seconds of the quarter as Ohio State held the 28-14 advantage.
