
No. 19 Ohio State Heads to West Coast for Big Four Meet

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 19 Ohio State women's gymnastics team concludes its regular season Big Ten Conference schedule at the Big Four Meet Friday, Feb. 27 at UCLA. The Buckeyes will compete against the Bruins, Iowa and Maryland at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles at 10 p.m. ET on FS1.

Ohio State hosts its final home meet of the 2026 season Sunday, March 8. The Buckeyes will compete against NC State, Eastern Michigan and Penn State at 2 p.m. at the Covelli Center. Tickets for Ohio State women's gymnastics home meets can be purchased HERE.
Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- Ohio State is back in the top 20 this week. The team is 19th nationally and sixth among Big Ten teams with a national qualifying score (NQS) of 196.405. In the conference standings, Ohio State is tied for fifth with Maryland, Michigan and Penn State.
- As a team, Ohio State is ranked top 20 on three of four apparatuses this season. The Buckeyes are 10th on floor (49.350), 15th on vault (49.100), 16th on beam (49.110).
- JJ Coleman is ninth nationally and third in the Big Ten with an NQS of 9.915 on floor. Coleman averages a 9.914 on the apparatus this season and has recorded a 9.900 or above in all but one meet this season. She scored a career-high 9.950 in the dual meet vs. Washington (Feb. 14).
- Tory Vetter continues to lead the team in the all-around with an NQS of 39.300. The score is ninth-best in the conference. She recorded a season-high all-around score of 39.525 in the dual meet against Michigan (Feb. 7). The Hilliard, Ohio native has five all-around titles on the year.
- Ohio State won the team event title on beam last weekend at Michigan State with a score of 49.275. Natalie Martin and Vetter each scored a 9.925 in the rotation to win the individual event title.
- On vault, the Buckeyes hit season-high scores of 49.300 against Nebraska (Jan. 31) and Michigan. Coleman is the only Buckeye to hit a 9.900 on vault this season. Four Buckeyes have combined for six event titles on vault in 2026.
- Ohio State's best score on uneven bars this season is a 49.050 against Michigan. Vetter won the event title with a team-high 9.900 in the meet.
- The Buckeye beam team's highest score of the year was a 49.425 at Nebraska. Riley Guevara and Ava Jackson tied for the event title with career-high 9.925s in the meet. The are tied with Martin and Vetter for the team lead on the event this season.
- Leading the way on floor for the Buckeyes is Coleman with a career-high 9.950 against Washington. Ohio State scored a season-high 49.575 on the event against the Huskies and four Buckeyes scored 9.900s on the event in the meet.
- Vetter owns the team's highest score of the season on uneven bars (9.900) and the all-around (39.525). Vetter, in her fifth season with the Buckeyes, is the 2024 Big Ten uneven bars champion and has tied the program's all-around record of 39.625 in her collegiate career.
