Big Ten Names Haas Offensive Player of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior attackman Garrett Haas is the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. Haas led the Buckeyes with six points in the 13-5 win over High Point last weekend to pick up the first Big Ten weekly award of his career.
On his way to a career high tying six-point game against the Panthers, Haas tallied a career-high five goals for the most goals scored by a Buckeye in a game this season. Four of the goals were scored in the first half. He recorded his first hat trick of the season, and fifth of his career, in the win over High Point.
Haas leads the conference with 24 points this season. He is averaging a league-high 4.80 points per game and 2.60 assists per game. The Fairview, Texas native has at least four points in every game this season and six in the last two games for Ohio State.
