
#ProBucks Update – NLL Playoffs and PLL Training Camp

NLL Playoffs
Nine Pro Bucks advanced to the 2026 NLL Playoffs. Buckeye Lacrosse will be represented on three of the four semifinal teams with seven players across the three teams.

In the first quarterfinal game of the playoffs, Jason Knox led the Thunderbirds with six points and four goals. Halifax faced a 7-1 deficit at the half before scoring nine unanswered goals to secure a semifinal appearance. Jake Withers added a goal, two assists, nine loose balls and two caused turnovers. Ryan Terefenko finished the game with two assists and six loose balls. For the Warriors, Jesse King recorded five points and four assists.
Tre Leclaire scored the game-winning overtime goal to send the Seals to the semifinals. He finished the game with two goals, an assist five loose balls and a caused turnover. Trent DiCicco tallied an assist, nine loose balls and two caused turnovers in the game.
Jeff Henrick recorded an assist and three loose balls in the Swarm’s 17-10 win over the defending champion Buffalo Bandits.
Austin Shanks led the Rush with seven points on four assists and three goals in the quarterfinal against Toronto.

PLL Training Camp
The Premier Lacrosse League is gearing up for its 2026 season with players reporting for training camp last weekend. The upcoming PLL season opens May 8-9 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Six Pro Bucks are rostered for the first training camp of the 2026 season.

The Buckeyes had two players selected in the top 20 of the 2026 PLL College Draft. Cullen Brown was the first Buckeye off the board, selected in the second round and 14th overall by the California Redwoods, and Blake Eiland went with the third pick of the third round to the Maryland Whipsnakes.
The Buckeye captains become the program's seventh and eighth draftees to the Premier Lacrosse League. Buckeye Lacrosse has now produced 30 draft picks across the PLL and Major League Lacrosse and has multiple draft picks in a single class for the sixth time in the last 10 seasons.
