Peschel Named WCHA Defender of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's hockey senior forward Emma Peschel was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Defender of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Peschel led the Buckeyes with seven points in the sweep of Bemidji State last weekend. She finished the weekend with a team-high four blocked shots and a plus-2 on ice.
The captain from Edina, Minn. recorded a team-high four points in game one, scoring the game-winning goal and assisting the first, third and final goal of the game. In game two, she assisted the first and fourth goal and scored the fifth.
