COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 2 Ohio State set for rematch against No. 1 Virginia in the semifinals of the ITA Indoor Team National Championship Monday at 4:30.

The semifinals and finals matches will be played at SMU's Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex in Dallas, Texas.

Ohio State, the lone Big Ten team in the tournament, opened the 16-team tournament with a 4-3 victory over host SMU. In the quarterfinals, the Buckeyes were down 3-1 before mounting three-consecutive singles wins to advance to the semifinals.Â

No. 1 Virginia defeated No. 6 Mississippi State 4-1 Saturday. Virginia, the No. 2 seed in SMU's bracket, dropped the doubles point against the Bulldogs before winning four consecutive singles matches to advance.

Last weekend, the Buckeyes defeated Virginia 5-2 in a top two matchup at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center. Ohio State is 12-10 all-time against the Cavaliers and an undefeated 4-0 in the last four matches.

The Buckeyes are 7-5 all-time in the in the national indoors semifinals of the tournament.

The winner of Ohio State and Virginia will match up against Texas or Baylor in Baylor's side of the bracket.

The Buckeyes defeated then No. 5 Texas 4-1 at home earlier in the season.

- The win against Stanford marked Ohio State's fourth consecutive win over Top 5 opponents this season and four of the last five Buckeye matches. (4-3 vs. No. 4 Stanford, 5-2 vs. No. 1 Virginia, 4-0 vs. No. 1 Wake Forest and 4-1 vs. No. 5 Texas).
- The Buckeyes have advanced to the semifinals 13 times and look to advance to the finals for the eighth time.
- No. 98 Nikita Filin leads the tournament with three total wins, a doubles and singles victory over SMU and a singles victory over Stanford. Filin is undefeated in the dual season in singles and doubles, in singles, Filin has yet to lose the first set.
- No. 24 senior Jack Anthrop has collected two singles victories this weekend after he clinched the victory in a tiebreaker against SMU and defeated Stanford's No. 80 Alex Chang.
- The Buckeyes dropped their first doubles point of the season against Stanford.
- The last time Ohio State started the season 10-0 was in 2024 when the Buckeyes went 16-0.
