COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior faceoff specialist Jack Oldman earned the Big Ten's Specialist of the Week award after his performance in the Ohio State men's lacrosse team's 17-7 win over Cleveland State last weekend.
Oldman went 18-for-23 on the faceoff in the Buckeyes' second win of the year. He picked up a season-high 13 ground balls in the game currently ranks first in the conference with 7.67 ground balls per game.
The Pickering, Ontario native also scored his first goal of the season and fifth of his career against the Vikings.
His performance from the faceoff X has Ohio State third in the country with a team faceoff win percentage of .733.
