COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State field hockey team hosts its final home game of the regular season Friday, Oct. 23 against Michigan State before hitting the road to play at Kent State Sunday, Oct. 25.

- The Buckeyes enter the penultimate weekend of the regular season 4-10 on the season. Ten of Ohio State's 14 games this season have been decided by one goal, with four of the ten one-goal games settled in a penalty shootout. The Buckeyes have played the No. 1 ranked team in the country twice and six total ranked matchups.
- Not only has the team played in close matchups, but Ohio State has also recovered from a second half deficit seven times this season. The team has tied the game in the second half all four times the game has gone to a shootout.
- Sienna Golden and Emily Barker have both reached double digit points this year. Golden leads the team with 14 points on a team-high seven goals. Barker is second in the team in goals (4) and points (10).
- Golden has recorded the game-winning goal in each of the team's regulation wins this season.
- Victoria Kutz has an assist in three of the last four games for the Buckeyes. She leads the team with five assists on the season and has seven points on the year.
- Ohio State is outshooting (176-167) and out-cornering (79-66) its opponents this year.
- The Buckeyes recorded a season-high nine points and three goals at Penn State last weekend. The team finished the weekend with a .778 shot on goal percentage against Maryland, the team's best against a Big Ten opponent this season.
