COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 19 Ohio State women's gymnastics team will host Illinois in a Big Ten Conference dual meet Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Covelli Center. The meet between the Buckeyes (1-1, 1-0 B1G) and Illini (2-2, 0-1 B1G) is set for 2 p.m.

The meet, originally scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, was rescheduled because of forecasted inclement weather in Columbus this weekend. It will be streamed on B1G+ (subscription required).

Due to the schedule change, fans that can no longer attend the meet can contact the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office in order to request a refund or exchange their ticket(s) for another women's gymnastics meet this season, based on availability. Fans can contact the Ticket Office by emailing athletic.tix@osu.edu or calling 1-800-GOBUCKS. Customer service representatives are available via phone Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET.

The Buckeyes travel to Lincoln, Neb. to compete against Nebraska Saturday, Jan. 31 before returning back to Columbus for a meet against No. 10 Michigan Feb. 7 at the Covelli Center.

Meet Theme and Promotions
- Saturday is the Our Honor Defend meet for Ohio State women's gymnastics.
- All first responders, veterans and active-duty members of the military can enjoy a special 20% discount at the concession stand and the Team Shop during the meet when presenting a valid military/first responder badge or ID.
- Ohio State is in the top 20 of the Road to Nationals standings for the second week in a row, checking in at No. 19 with an average score of 196.000 after week three of the season.
- Sophomore JJ Coleman has recorded a score of 9.900 or higher on floor in both meets this season. She is tied for ninth in the country and leads the Big Ten with a 9.912 season average on the apparatus.
- Tory Vetter is third in the Big Ten on vault with an average score of 9.850. She is 11th in the conference in the all-around (38.887).
- The team's floor squad is first in the Big Ten and tied for ninth nationally with an average score of 49.275. Coleman and Kaitlyn Grimes lead the team with 9.925s on the apparatus this season.
- Ohio State has outscored its opponents on vault in both meets of the 2026 season with scores of 48.975. Vetter's 9.850 in the event has won her the individual title in both meets.
- The 2026 women's gymnastics roster includes 14 returners and seven newcomers. Freshmen Ava Jackson and Jaylyn Pomager have appeared in the lineup for the Buckeyes in the first two meets of the season.
