Coming off one of his worst games of the season, sophomore guard John Mobley Jr. has bounced back in a big way and has enjoyed two of the best games of his career.
After just three points in the loss at Washington on Jan. 11, Mobley Jr. scored a career-high 28 points on a career-high six three-pointers to lead the Buckeyes to a wire-to-wire victory. He also had three assists, one steal and zero turnovers. In the win against Minnesota on Jan. 20, Mobley Jr. again led the Buckeyes with 26 points and made another five three-point field goals.
Over the two games, the Reynoldsburg, Ohio native is 11-of-23 (47.8 percent) from long range and 17-of-34 overall from the floor. He has also made all nine of his free throw attempts and has five assists, six rebounds, a block and a steal.
